After a 10 year career in youth retreat camping, Brian felt called by the Lord to pursue FCA staff.  The idea that coaches and athletes have tremendous INFLUENCE upon the lives of those around them really resonated with him, so FCA was a great fit. He has been serving with FCA since April of 2014. Over the past 10 years, the Lord has led Brian to hire and disciple 27+ college interns, launch an FCA Power Camp that boasts 300+ participants and has grown the staff and ministry presence in Cecil County in ways that can only point to a powerful and loving God. He and his wife Erin have three children Bohdan (19), Audrey (17) & Thatcher (15).

Ashley Noel

Area Representative - West Cecil County

It was Ashley’s twenty years of experience as a coach and mentor for youth and student athletes of all levels in the sport of swimming that originally attracted her to the ministry, its mission, values, and its purpose. As she, her husband Josh and her two children, Dylan (15) and Oakley (10), became hands-on involved in opportunities and educated further in the history and eternal impact of FCA, she felt an extremely strong connection between her personal gifts and life experiences and the Area Representative position. God has uniquely gifted and prepared her with a professional background in social work, education as well as those years as a sport coach herself. She and Josh are both former multi-sport student-athletes and are currently CrossFit enthusiasts. The kids are very active in both Rising Sun and Cecil County Sports. The entire family is beyond grateful for the FCA journey the Good Lord has sent them and anticipate with excitement the Kingdom building that will be accomplished in His name and for His glory because of it!

Justin Sexton

Prospective Staff - East Cecil County

God used the sport of basketball to reach me right where I was, saving my life and my soul. Through my walk with God, He has drawn me closer to Him while using sports to reach me. After 16 years of coaching and training in basketball, I want to use the skills God has given me to spread the Gospel and use the platform of sports to reach others how God used it to reach me. Being an athlete teaches us discipline, teamwork, and passion for what we love. These are universal values in competition that are also Biblical values. We can build on that foundation and lead coaches and athletes closer in their relationship with Jesus. Seeing how God has worked in the lives of young athletes at Power Camp made the decision easy for me to join the team!. Sports were my escape at a young age. I used the flow and the creativity of the game of basketball to express myself. To this day, I still play as much basketball as I can and I want to use my body as a living sacrifice to the Lord. FCA allows me to do that with an eternal perspective. My wife (Jessica) and three kids, Isabelle (17), Emmett(10) and Leo (6), share a love for God and sports, supporting me in chasing God’s calling on my life.

She has seen first-hand how the Lord is drawing young people to a deeper faith in Christ through the community that FCA provides. While not a competitive athlete herself, she has enjoying being a part of a local gym and has been cheering and supporting her children from those little league years all the way to competing collegiately.
